Itinerary of 8 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Tangier - chefchoauen -Fes

Our driver from  will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the harbor. We will start our 8 days tour from Tangier, traveling through the beautiful Rif mountains and passing by Tetouan, continuing to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen.

In Chefchaouen, you’ll have free time to explore the town. Walk through the narrow streets painted blue and white, take beautiful pictures, visit the old medina, and see Ras el Ma, where fresh mountain water flows into the town. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the famous Plaza Uta el-Hammam.

In the afternoon, we will travel directly to Fes, enjoying the views of the Rif mountains and the green landscapes of northern Morocco. We will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon, and you will stay overnight at a beautifully decorated hotel.

Day 2: Fes Guided tour

Today will be dedicated to explore the city of Fes with a knowledgeable guid. we will start  by wandering through the narrow, maze-like streets of Fes el Bali, the old part of the city. Here, you’ll encounter bustling markets, street vendors selling traditional goods, and the lively atmosphere of everyday life in Fes.

Next, visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, a historic and significant religious site known for its ancient grandeur and stunning architecture. Continue your journey to the Bou Inania Madrasa, a remarkable example of Islamic architecture. Admire the detailed carvings, beautiful tilework, and serene courtyards as you learn about the history this religious school.

Day 3: Fes -Ifrane - Azrou- Merzouga Desert

Today after breakfast in your Riad we will travel to Merzouga Desert. Along the way, we will make stops at Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and cool climate, and Azrou, known for its ancient cedar trees and wildlife, including Barbary macaques. Take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility of this forested area before having lunch in Midelt. 

As we drive through the Ziz Valley, you’ll be treated to views of palm groves and unique landscapes. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, situated at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you will check into your hotel, and enjoying panoramic views of the desert from a nearby hill. The day ends with an overnight in Merzouga.

Day 4: Explore Merzouga - Visit Nomads - Camel Trekking - Overnight Desert Camp
